We have been busy sourcing exciting new home décor products for summer 2010. Each week we are receiving new products so please come and visit the store .

TOH could run a seasonal raffle - maybe onceevery three months, people buy raffle ickets and the winner gets a night in a fancy hotel in HK - everyone would love that! the money raised in each seasonal raffle will go specifically to sponsor one child's surgery or one child’s fostercare costs.

In conjunction with the HERE! Dongguan magazine Treasures of Hope hosted “Afternoon With Santa” on two Saturdays before Christmas.

The money raised through this event enabled one child from TCH to have surgery. The surgery took place in Guangzhou and xyz has fully recovered etc...." We do not have to have photos if we want to protect the children (?)

Volunteer opportunities are available in providing a Children's Day activity & afternoon outings on occasion with a group of local orphans.

Currently, Treasures of Hope helps orphans, youth in poverty to receive an education, people affected by leprosy, and now we are joining efforts to help the immediate needs of those affected by the YaAn earthquake.

Today, Treasures of Hope transferred 3060 RMB to our contact in YaAn who will be distributing items THIS WEEK to 5 families affected by the earthquake. They will receive a tent for temporary housing, a cotton quilt, rice, and milk. Thank you for making a difference in these lives and pictures soon to come!

There are still PLENTY of needs as over 12,000 people injured and about 200 death's due to the YaAn Earthquake. Let's continue to make a difference in these lives and those that we are in contact with near YaAn that are volunteering, distributing, and caring. We will continue to collect funds and continue to help as there are SO many needs!

The earthquake happened on April 20 leaving a couple hundred dead and over 11,000 people injured. There are immediate needs and 2 volunteers will be going this week to help distribute supplies and encourage those affected by this.

For 612 rmb, you can make a difference in providing for a family as sets are being delivered to to those in need including a tent, cotton quilt, bag of rice and a box of milk.
